The Carpinteria High School Booster Club is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization established to encourage the moral and physical development of CHS students through the school’s athletic program. The Booster Club raises funds to support the athletic program financially and gives recognition to teams and individuals of the program.
Through our membership drive, merchandise sales, concession stand, Avocado Festival booth and new business sponsorship program, the Booster Club raises funds that go directly to the day-to-day operating expenses of the CHS Athletic Department, including uniforms, equipment and special projects. Additionally, the Booster Club gives annual scholarships to graduating CHS student athletes through the Scholarship Foundation of Santa Barbara.
At CHS, there are more than 550 participants in 18 sports and 41 teams, and the Booster Club provides critical funding to support ALL our student athletes and programs. Membership starts at just $25, and is an essential way you can support successful athletic programs at CHS. Membership dues go directly to the general Boosters fund, which in turn goes directly to the day-to-day operating expenses of the CHS Athletic Department. Additionally, we help fund special projects submitted each year by coaches, along with scholarships to graduating CHS student athletes through the Scholarship Foundation of Santa Barbara.
In 2018-19, we provided more than $25,000 in funding to support CHS athletics, whether it be paying for officials at home events, tournament fees, hundreds of athletic balls, new uniforms and equipment, or a variety of the other expenses the Athletic Department incurs each year to put on quality athletic events at CHS.
